New Delhi, April 2025 — In a strategic move aimed at revolutionizing the tech experience of India’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs), ASUS has launched its latest range of AI-driven laptops under the ExpertBook P series. With an eye on functionality, durability, and enterprise-level features, the company is positioning these devices as the perfect fit for the country’s rapidly evolving SME ecosystem.
Speaking at the launch event, Rex Lee, Head of Commercial PC Business for ASUS APAC, emphasized the company’s people-first philosophy. “We listen beyond words. Many users don’t even realize their current setup is holding them back. We’re here to change that,” he said, underscoring ASUS’s deep commitment to user-centric innovation.
The newly introduced ExpertBook P1, P3, and P5 models are tailored to meet the diverse needs of small business owners, independent professionals, and micro-entrepreneurs. Designed with AI performance, robust build quality, and enhanced security in mind, the P series aims to bridge the gap between everyday consumer laptops and enterprise-grade machines—without overwhelming users with complexity.
Lee noted that SME users, despite their heavy reliance on laptops, often use devices not built for demanding workloads or long-term reliability. “Their laptop is their office, their partner, their productivity hub. We want to make sure it never lets them down.”
Beyond just hardware, ASUS is bundling a full suite of services, post-sale support, and software tools to simplify IT management for smaller businesses. The company has also partnered with Flipkart to increase accessibility and offer flexible purchasing options via the platform’s fintech tools.
Rahul Malhotra, Director of Intel’s India Tech Ecosystem division, joined the event to spotlight the powerful Intel Core Ultra processors integrated into the new series. “This generation offers a leap of more than 80% in performance over the last. It’s our best yet—faster, smarter, and greener,” he said. He added that with top-tier GPU performance, cutting-edge AI capabilities, and near-universal app compatibility, these devices are built for seamless, future-ready computing.
Malhotra also praised ASUS for targeting a market segment that is often overlooked by OEMs. “SMEs are the backbone of our economy. It’s encouraging to see a brand like ASUS recognizing their specific needs and designing technology just for them.”
