New Delhi, April 16 — HP has launched its latest flagship gaming laptop, the OMEN MAX 16, in the Indian market. Designed for high-end gamers and performance enthusiasts, the laptop blends cutting-edge hardware with artificial intelligence for real-time game optimization.
At the heart of the OMEN MAX 16 is Intel’s new Core Ultra 9-275HX processor, featuring 24 cores, paired with the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. This combination promises exceptional performance across demanding AAA games, competitive eSports titles, and intensive creative workflows.
One of the standout features is the debut of OMEN AI, HP’s new beta-stage software that automatically tunes system settings to optimize frame rates and thermal performance. The AI currently supports Counter Strike 2, with more titles to be added soon, offering a hands-free performance boost tailored to gameplay patterns.
The laptop features a 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS display with a 240Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 500 nits. It includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM (expandable to 64GB) and a 1TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD, ensuring lightning-fast load times and multitasking capabilities.
HP has also invested heavily in thermal management, equipping the OMEN MAX 16 with OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro, a vapor chamber covering over half the motherboard, and Cryo Compound for superior heat dissipation—all wrapped in a sleek aluminum body.
Additional highlights include a per-key RGB keyboard inspired by HyperX, optional customisable RGB light bar, Full HD IR camera with Windows Hello support, dual digital microphones with noise cancellation, and a physical privacy shutter.
