Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition in India, targeting businesses and professionals who require a durable, high-performance tablet for challenging work environments.
The new device is built with military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H) and features an IP68-certified S Pen, making it suitable for industries such as defense, logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing. With a starting price of ₹49,999, bookings open on August 18, 2025.

The Galaxy Tab Active5 sports an 8-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth usage even outdoors. It runs on an octa-core processor and comes in two configurations — 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, expandable via microSD up to 1TB.
Samsung has also included a replaceable 5,050mAh battery with No-Battery Mode, allowing continuous operation when connected to a power source. This is especially useful for logistics hubs, public safety operations, and fieldwork in rural regions.

Preloaded with Android 15, the tablet will receive OS updates for up to seven years (till version 21).
