Xiaomi has expanded its tablet lineup with two new models designed for very different user needs: the REDMI Pad 2 Pro Series for big-screen entertainment and productivity, and the Xiaomi Pad Mini, the brand’s first flagship mini tablet focused on portability.
REDMI Pad 2 Pro Series: Entertainment Meets Productivity
The REDMI Pad 2 Pro Series is built around a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with Dolby Vision, adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, and TÜV Rheinland certifications to reduce eye strain. For outdoor or bright environments, the Matte Glass Version uses an AG nano-texture screen that cuts glare by up to 97%.
The tablet also boasts a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, a 12,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and even reverse wired charging at 27W. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, it can handle gaming, multitasking, and streaming with ease.
Xiaomi’s HyperOS integration brings advanced multitasking, shared clipboard, call sync, and device mirroring. AI features are enhanced with Google Gemini tools, and users can expand storage up to 2TB. Accessories include the REDMI Smart Pen with 4096 pressure levels, a full keyboard, and a protective case with pen support.
