Hardware Designed Around Connectivity
The Surface Laptop 5G features a dynamic six-antenna system that adapts in real-time to the user’s environment, maintaining a strong signal whether on 5G or Wi-Fi. Microsoft’s custom-built multi-layered laminate material allows radio signals to pass effectively while maintaining a lightweight, durable frame—keeping the laptop under 3 pounds.
Both NanoSIM and eSIM options are supported for global compatibility, and the device can double as a secure 5G hotspot, providing connectivity to other devices even in the absence of Wi-Fi.
Enterprise-Grade Security and IT Control
Designed with IT administrators in mind, the Surface Laptop 5G enables zero-touch deployment using Windows Autopilot and can be managed remotely through Microsoft Intune. Administrators can preconfigure eSIM profiles, enforce device policies, and track device compliance and performance through the Surface Management Portal.
