Honor has unveiled the Pad GT2 Pro, the successor to last year’s Pad GT Pro, bringing flagship-level power to Android gaming tablets. The new device will hit shelves in China on July 28, with early pre-orders already available on Honor’s official store.
Flagship Power and Performance
At the heart of the Honor Pad GT2 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset — a significant leap from the previous generation’s 8s Gen 3. This power boost allows the tablet to run top-tier mobile games like CrossFire: Gunfight King at an ultra-smooth 165fps, perfectly matching its 165Hz refresh rate display.
The screen retains its impressive 3K resolution (likely 3000 x 1920 pixels) on a 12.3-inch panel, delivering crisp visuals and responsive touch for gaming and media consumption.
Enhanced Hardware and Cooling
The GT2 Pro comes in multiple configurations:
- 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage
- 12GB RAM with 256GB storage
- 16GB RAM with 512GB storage
The tablet features advanced graphene-based cooling, helping maintain optimal performance during heavy usage sessions.
Audio & Design
For immersive sound, the Pad GT2 Pro includes eight IMAX Enhanced speakers, paired with a haptic feedback engine for an enriched multimedia and gaming experience.
Despite its powerful hardware, the tablet maintains a sleek 5.8mm profile and weighs 580g, only slightly heavier than last year’s model.
Battery and Availability
With a 10,100mAh battery, the GT2 Pro offers long-lasting power, although charging specs haven’t been revealed. The previous model supported 66W fast charging.
It will be available in Ice Crystal White and Phantom Gray, with early bird pricing starting at CNY 2,125.
